We are a registered business (ABN 28139268672)
This service was initially set up to assist anyone with seasonal bee swarms or unwanted existing bee colonies. After removal/rescue we will relocate the bees to a suitable apiary or release them back into bushland well away from residential areas. We are flexible in our removal approach and use a range of techniques from age old styles and some very modern ones.
Peoples Safety, our thoroughness and job cleanliness are a part of our philosophy.
We care about the bees we save and always ensure they are rescued and re-homed.
Some customers ask to keep the bees and we can then rehouse them into regular hives to produce honey.
We have contacts in the farming community where we will rehome the bees.
We travel out to the bush and release them.
We respond to any inquiry by asking for information about location of the bees. A photograph of where the bees are situated will help immensely.
Discuss best access to bees and possible timing to attend.
A costing to do the removal will be given or an appointment to view situation maybe needed to confirm costing.
Bees regularly move into unattended storage containers, pieces of equipment in layup mode, Reticulation control boxes, walls and of course buildings. We will remove with a minimum of fuss and at a time most appropriate to the smooth running of the business.
Bees often move into buildings under construction, into walls ceilings and air conditioning-ventilation systems.
We will respond quickly to your call as we appreciate the impacts of interruptions to construction schedules. We can also offer swarm traps set up around the building site to offer the bees a home before they move into the building under construction.
Bees encountered in abandoned structures in the bush or bees in trees are quite common. Removal is generally easily performed once suitable access is available.
Bees can be a real problem for students when they settle in the school bounds.
The affected areas need to be isolated and the situation handled with due regard to student safety. Timing of removal is an important consideration so as to minimise bee numbers while students are at school.
Bee incursion in residential properties will mostly be into the building or into the garden. Garden removals are generally less complicated and mostly involve a new swarm of bees. Removals concerning buildings can be from new swarms of bees or older thereto undetected colonies of bees. There is an array of favourite places, including inside roofs, walls, chimneys, ceilings, garages, sheds, composting bins. All require individual evaluation and a suitable plan adopted.
Generally from trees or reticulation installations. Removal of a colony from the inside of a tree requires careful evaluation as there are quite a few variables involved.
At West Australian Bee Services, we use our expert knowledge to identify locations that swarming bees are able to invade. With this information, we can then work with you to set preventative measures at these locations, plus give practical solutions on how to deal with any existing bees.
